The Say Hello to the World Project!

Thanks for your patience!
Hello.gif

November 21st is “World Hello Day," a day established in 1973 in response to the war between Israel and Egypt. Its goal was to promote peace through increased communication by asking people all over the world to say “hello” to ten people!

This year, we continued this tribute by exchanging this project with twenty-nine schools worldwide. Student contributions included: 600 hand-crafted greeting cards, an original children's story, an audio movie, an original hello song, and a "Padlet (Wallwisher)" expressing American versions of the word hello. We mailed this project to friends around the world.

Directions: Scroll down to find an album of interest, then click the image to open it. Next, click on the Hi from Around the World link to view what global friends are exchanging.

"Enjoy your visit", Laura
